How about an adolescent Ninja with yellow hair who dreams to be a "Hokage"? Naruto has been one of the top-selling mangas in the world! The comedy, love, drama and action packed into one series really made the whole world crazy over manga!
How about Natsu? Gon? Luffy? Recca? Ichigo? There are countless Anime that the whole world loved. But, did you know that Astro boy is the first anime that has become popular in the world?
There are also two Japanese Anime that hold 2 Guinness World Record. One is "Sazae-san", which is the longest broadcasting animation in the world with more than 7,000 episodes since 1969. Other one is "Anpanman", which holds the the highest number of characters in an animated franchise with a total of 1,768 characters appearing in the first 980 episodes of the TV series and the first 20 movie films.
The earliest Japanese animation is called "Katsudo Shashin", an undated private work by an unknown creator. The first ever animated talkie was the 1932 “Power and Women in Society (Chikara to Onna no Yo no Naka), according to Japan Times. Kenzo Masaoka, one of the anime pioneers, used a combination of local cutout and foreign celluloid animation in producing the anime.
