Lady Oscar is a testament to how women can hold positions that are usually for men, and do a spectacular job at it.
San of Princess Mononoke

San’s parents were attacked by the wolf goddess Moro, when she was just a baby. This was due to her parents damaging the forest. To appease Moro, the parents gave her San and ran away. Raised by wolves, San became a fierce girl who behaved just like the rest of the pack. While her fighting skills are enough to make people think she is a strong woman, her mission to protect the forest and the animals that live in it make her even more admirable.
