Every anime character has their own unique characteristics that catch our eyes and captivate our hearts.
Among these characteristics, their transformation is one that excites and thrills us. You might be thinking of magical girls turning into colorful warriors, but not all of them are like that.
Here’s the list of the most intense, most epic, most gorgeous and the coolest anime transformations of all time, which left us yearning for more every time we watch them.
Yukito to Yue (Cardcaptor Sakura)
Yukito Tsukishiro is your ideal guy who has gray hair, brown eyes, and a large circular glasses. These make him look like a scholarly individual.
However, Yukito is actually the human form of the Moon Guardian Yue. Your kind and gentle Yukito transforms into his real form, the more gorgeous and angelic one, with long silver hair that flows down to his back with a short bangs that reveals his silver-blue eyes.
Sesshomaru to the Dog Demon (Inuyasha)
Sesshomaru was a powerful pureblood Inu Yokai (or Dog Demon) like his father. Inu Yokai can switch at will from a human-like form to their true form, a giant canine creature. When Sesshomaru transforms into his Yokai form, he becomes stronger and can utilize powerful attacks.
Sesshomaru’s Yōkai form looks like a massive, white dog beast with large claws, red eyes, and a flowing fur coat. In addition, he also maintains the same marking he has on his face when he’s in human form. He often transforms into his Yokai form while battling with his half-brother Inuyasha, who is also a half dog demon himself.
Chopper to Disastrous Monster (One Piece)
A very cute reindeer turned into a disastrous monster. This is Tony Tony Chopper’s cool transformation. Due to the devil fruit, Chopper has been given not only human intelligence, but also the ability to turn into three forms: from the Walk Point, his normal form; to the brain point, his human hybrid form; and to the heavy point, his human form.
But this doesn’t stop here. The fruit is further strengthened by the use of Rumble Ball, a yellow jawbreaker-like drug that gives him several more transformations, the most intense and spine-chilling ones.
Abel Nightroad to Vampire (Trinity Blood)
Peter Abel Nightroad a.k.a. Crusnik 02, is the main character of Trinity Blood. He has long silvery hair tied up by a black ribbon, blue gray eyes, small, gray round glasses, wears a black priest robe and white gloves with black belt during his normal state.
He may look like a clumsy absent-minded Catholic priest but when he transforms into Crusnik, his cute blue gray eyes turn into red and a pair of fangs appear between his lips which turn into black. He turns into a vampire with extraordinary powers and has the power to feed on other vampires.
Haku to White Dragon (Spirited Away)
For the lovers of Studio Ghibli, who will ever forget Haku and his promise for Chihiro that they will meet again?
Haku appears as a lean-built twelve year old boy with sharp green eyes with a black traditional Japanese bob cut, wearing blue pants, a white Japanese kimono, and a blue sash tied along his waist. He might appear as a kind-hearted and supportive young boy whom from the beginning of the story until the end, does everything within his power to keep Chihiro unharmed and help her leave safely. But in reality, he is a spirit who has the ability to transform into a dragon.
Eren to Titan (Attack on Titan)
Eren witnessed his mother eaten by a supernatural being known as a Titan. Seeking revenge against the creature, he joins a military team known as the Survey Corps. While in the line of duty, Eren is dismembered and eaten whole by a Titan.
His rage and hatred for the Titans seem to trigger his transformation. In an ironic twist of fate, Eren takes on the form of a massive Titan himself. When Eren transforms into a Titan, it significantly alters his physical strength and his overall appearance. This transformation became the turning point of the story, making Eren change the whole story flow.
These transformations are really interesting and in some anime, have become an integral part of the story. It didn’t only make our favorite characters persevere through tough situations, but it also made them really cool, making us fall in love with them.
