Whenever you watch an anime, there will always be a character who gets into your nerves. He or she can be the evil villain who is always getting in the way of every protagonist. But sometimes, he or she or they are just the characters who, whenever they come out on the screen, you just unconsciously say “Ugh.”
Whether it’s because of their evil ways, uselessness or just pure irritating traits, here’s our pick of the most annoying characters you’ve encountered in your life.
Team Rocket of Pokemon
Jessie, James and the talking Meowth. The Team Rocket trio surely never have failed to make you scratch your head whenever they come out of the scene. It would have been great if they just appeared every other few episodes, but unfortunately, they appear on every single airing. Who wouldn’t get annoyed with that? They are always planning up a way to capture Pikachu but a lot of seasons have come by and still...
Mr Satan of Dragon Ball Z
Mr. Satan’s character is too annoying because of endlessly boasting on television that he’s the best fighter in the world, particularly after surviving the Cell games. It’s even more annoying when his fans quickly grew and adored him. This made him claim that he’s way better than anyone else, even if he doesn’t have enough strength and ability.
Makoto of School Days
How can this guy not annoy you? He is greedy enough to be even be included in this list. He takes more than what he needs, he lies to protect himself, and cheat whenever he has a chance.
Shou Tucker of Fullmetal Alchemist
Who wouldn’t be annoyed if a father, who’s supposed to love and take care of his family, just abandoned it? He turns his wife into a chimera and then leaves her in that state to suffer for the rest of her life, without even providing a way for her to come back to her human form? He even did it to his daughter. This is exactly what Shou Tucker did in Fullmetal Alchemist. Plus, the victims don’t even deserve such kind of treatment.
Uchiha Sasuke of Naruto
Sasuke may be handsome but his character isn’t as good as his face. He’s always whining in every aspect of his life and always make his past an excuse for every evil thing that he does. He finds his life unfair and alone even if he has friends who love and care about him. Well, everybody loves him and even girls admire him. Naruto and Sakura treat him as a true friend but in the end, he didn’t treat them as one. Revenge is always on his mind that it eat him up and made him hard-hearted.
Hisoka of Hunter x Hunter
Though he’s cute, powerful, sexy and has a lively attitude, he still has no morals and just does whatever he likes as long as it pleases him. He is a whimsical liar and you can’t tell if his words and actions are deceptive or not. Most of all, he’s a murderer. Hisoka is that kind of character that even if he’s annoying, his vibe, strength and knowledge simply makes you watch the anime more.
The annoying-ness of each character may sometimes let us think that their character shouldn’t have created. However, such characteristics were created for the sake of story purposes. The story of the anime that we once love wouldn’t be as great as it is without them.
