The legendary sports car returns.
Toyota Supra is a car designed for the race track. The Japanese sport racing car was killed off by Toyota in the early 2000s and, after years of waiting, sports car enthusiasts can finally breathe a sigh of relief once again. The latest generation of the Supra has been revealed in the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show— well, not quite.
Toyota unveiled the GR Supra Racing Concept, not the actual car yet, slated to be released next year. The ‘revelation’ was mostly a teaser as they did not give any specifications on the engine and interior of the car. Described as ‘Light, compact, and fast’ as well as having ‘the quality and durability’ of Toyota, Supra is a two-door, rear-wheel-drive coupe with a double-bubble roof. With its goal of being ‘Fun to drive, fun to own’, Toyota Supra sure has to live up to such promise, given its phenomenal history.
