If you've ever wondered what Steamboat Mickey would drive in the 21st century, ask no further. We give you the Toyota Kikai.
More than being a regular 3-seat, center-drive, mid-rear automobile, what captivates you is its unique see-through appearance. The whole concept of the car is to bring the beauty of its inside to its outside visuals. It was all about appreciating the fine craftsmanship of the automakers without the complexity of paint jobs. It was fascinating in its simplicity. It had none of the digital stuff, bluetooth stuff you normally see on cars today -- only a simple body panel and big analog gauges.
Now that's vintage.
