This is truly an innovation in the automobile industry of Japan. Released in 1947, the Nissan Tama was Nissan's first electric vehicle. The world was in the brink of recovery after World War II, moreover Japan. As a part of their recovery efforts, and also because oil has become scarce during the time, the Japanese government has regulated the use of the fuel and went to use electricity instead. The government then promoted the production of electric automobiles and the Tama had been Nissan's wholistic share to the recovery efforts of Japan.
