The 1996 model of the Honda Civic car was released in 1995. This four-door sedan is part of the sixth generation line, together with a three-door hatchback and a two-door coupe body-style. 

In Europe, Honda launched a five-door hatchback, which utilized the design of the Civic range. This one could also be considered as a revised Honda Domani, which has also shared the same platform as the Civic. 

Three years after release, in time for the 1999 automobile model, Honda revised the Civic's platform design. Depending on the country of origin, the design for the interior and exterior of the car had variations.
