There's a self-driving bus service that consists of an electric-powered EZ10 vehicle. The autonomous bus can carry up to 12 passengers. It has been tested in Fujisawa, Kanagawa by DeNA (a provider of e-commerce and mobile portal websites). The vehicle is completely independent and uses GPS, radio antennas, laser sensors, and cameras. Currently, this automated bus is only served in private lands and amusement parks due to the Japanese law that does not allow driverless cars on the road.
