Initially released in 1978, the Mitsubishi Mirage line of cars has continued until 2012. There had been hatchback models or the subcompact cars, which were the first versions from 1978 to 2003, and the Mitsubishi Lancer or the sedan and station wagons. The Mitsubishi Mirage was actully sold in the United States and Canda as the Dodge Colt under Chrysler. There had also been a sedan version of the Mirage, which they called the Mitsubishi Attrage or the Mitsubishi Mirage G4. These versions had been manufactured in the Laem Chabang plant in Thailand.
