Mazda Furai is one of the concept car of Mazda that was designed by Swift Engineering, a design studio in Southern California. This has an engine of 450 hp (336 kW) R20B RENESIS 3 Rotor Engine and a transmission of X-trac 6 speed semi-automatic. It was exhibited in Detroit during the 2008 North American International Auto Show.
Furai, in Japanese, means the sound of the wind. Since 2006, Mazda has been producing concept cars under the Nagare line, which in Japanese means "flow." The Furai is said to be the last of those series of cars.
