Jiotto Caspita is a prototype mid-engine sports car that was designed and manufactured by the automotive company named DOME Co. LTD. This was billed as the "F1 on the road". Just a little bit trivia, the design of this car was created by Kunihisa Ito, who was then the vice-president and chief designer of the Jiotto Design Inc.
The Jiotto Caspita was powered by a Moyori Modern Flat, with a detuned Formula One engine. In 1990, it was replaced by a Judd V10 engine. In the same year, it debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show but unfortunately, was readily phased out in the market by 1993 because of the dying demand for supercars.
