Japanese Kei Cars are the small vehicle types, which includes passenger cars, microvans and pickup trucks. These cars are designed to comply with the Japanese government taxes and insurance regulation, which are really helpful in the economy of Japan. These cars usually have yellow license plates to differentiate them from others. They also have forced-induction engines, and automatic and CV Transmission. But not all the Japanese car companies produced these kinds of cars. Some of those who complied are Daihatsu, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki. Nissan, on the other hand, just sold the Mitsubishi and Suzuki cars with their badge. Mazda sold badged Suzuki models, while Toyota and Subaru were selling badged engineered Daihatsu models.
