Ikoma cable line refers to a cable railway that connects Ikoma and Ikomasanjo in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture. The length of the line is 2 km and has five stations. The cable cars are an attraction in itself because of the fancy decors of dog and cat cartoon faces. These carriages will soon use vocalizations of dogs to alert wandering deers that often cross the tracks (a major source of collisions and train delays).
Nearby the cable car lines are the Ikomasanjo Amusement park featuring indoor games, go-carts, miniature golf and mini rollercoasters for kids. The Kintetsu railway runs the Ikoma Cable car.
