Flying cars are no longer the stuff of your imagination. Japan is attempting to make this car a dream waiting to happen with an engineering group backed by major automakers. Their goal is to create an affordable flying car right on time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Tsubasa Nakamura, one of the lead engineers of this project, calls this car, SkyDrive. Measuring only 9.5 feet by 4.3 feet, the team aims to SkyDrive a flying car for personal use. Development are still ongoing but they have successfully released a scaled-down remote-controlled prototype of the car last June 2015 at the Infinity Ventures Summit.
We're looking forward to the future with SkyDrive!
