Daihatsu Copen Car was manufactured by Daihatsu. It belongs to the class of Kei Cars, or the small Japanese cars, which has been a two-door roadster with a five-speed manual and a four-speed sequential. Daihatsu Copen has an aluminium retractable hardtop for that boy-next-door feel.
The Daihatsu Copen Car has been originally designed to have a 660 cc turbo-charged engine because of the Japanese kei car regulations. Apparently, the kind of engine are not so environmental-friendly, and will make the car less likely to be marketed abroad. Because of this, Daihatsu changed that into a 1.3 L non-turbo engine.
