The Civic Si (Sport Injected) is a sport compact manufactured by Honda from 1984 to present. It is the third generation of the Honda Civic. The ninth generation was released in 2012.

The 2012 Honda Civic Si has a different engine compared to the previous generation. It uses a 2.4-liter i-VTEC four with a 87-mm bore and 99-mm stroke to provide less of an rpm rush. This reduces fuel consumption and emissions. The larger engine also means that the gear noise is reduced. It uses a 6-speed manual transmission with Helical Limited-Slip Differential. The front rotor's size was increased to improve braking. There's no bump steer, and the brakes are fade-free.
