Game developer NIS America showed the new English trailer for Nihon Falcom’ s Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. 

Following the adventures of Adol Christin, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is a single-player action role-playing game with the standard hack-and-slash setup. Played in the third-person perspective, Ys 8 boasts of its stunning 3D graphics and intense anime-styled cinematography. 

With its fast-paced battles and balanced combat systems, distinct characters set in a dramatic storyline, and nerve-wracking missions with awesome soundtracks, Ys 8 has everything, setting it above and beyond other JRPGs.   

As part of the long-running Ys series, the stand-alone game is set to be released this summer.
