Yasuhiro Yoshiura is a Japanese writer and director of animated short films. He is the character designer of the well-known Evangelion: 2.0.
At first, he made a name for himself as an independent animation creator and later on, he quickly gained following from the people for capturing the daily life in the near future universe. He is the man behind the anime classics Time of Eve, Patema Inverted, and Power Plant No.33. Many of his works including Pale Cocoon and Time of Eve have garnered awards an featured at different film festivals. He won the award for best film in the Nihonbashi Film Festival for his work, Pale Cocoon.
Yasuhiro Yoshiura also owns a production named Studio Rikka.
