The World Cosplay Summit also known as WCS is an annual international cosplay event that encourages sociable international exchange through Japanese pop culture.
Last August 6, 2017, World Cosplay Summit (WCS) held the "World Cosplay Championship" at the big hall of the Aichi Prefectural Art and Culture Center (East District, Nagoya City). On its 15th year, WCS started in 2003, while the championship have been held since 2005. Representative cosplayers from all over the world, who performed as Japanese anime, manga, game, and special effects characters, competed in teams of two.
China's representative performed a skit on "Blood, the Last Vampire" and got the first place. The second place was the Mexican delegation who performed "Triangan."
