The soap contains molecules that bind to the protein coat of viruses. If such soap molecule comes close to the viruses, it rips-off that protein coat and thus disintegrates the structural integrity of the COVID-19. Wash your hands thoroughly after you handle money, doorknob or went to crowd places.
