The Tokyo Anime Center, the haven for otakus, will be closed on July 18 due to the expiration of its contract with the building they are renting on. The Tokyo Anime Center is an exhibition facility located at the Akihabara UDX building and has generously welcomed all anime fans and enthusiasts alike. The facility has hosted numerous events, interviews with creators and voice actors, and merchandising fairs so much so that it is dubbed the definitive spot for anime entertainment.

But otakus, no need to worry. Dry your tears because it will undergo a reopening after being remodeled. So better stay tuned.
