On May 12, 2017, the Official Pokémon YouTube Channel released an English version of The Magikarp Song. The song was actually already released, in Japanese version, on July 28, 2016 at the Japanese official Pokemon Youtube Channel. The Japanese version is entitled, Koiking no uta: I love Koiking. Koiking is actually this Pokemon's name in Japan.

Any Pokemon trainer and player could never have given importance to Magikarp if not for its ability to evolve to a strong water Pokemon named Gyarados.
