Square Enix, in collaboration with Sunrise, released a game trailer for its new project ‘Starwing Paradox’ (Hoshi to Tsubasa no Paradox). The story takes place in a planet called Meguriboshi, with gigantic weapons called ‘Ae Rial’ that needs an ‘AZ-One’ special knight and an alien with skills to fly it. 

The video shows the mechanics of the game, as well as gameplay preview. The arcade game is multiplayer, with up to 16 players fighting in 8-member teams. The game’s cabinet is also designed to match the movement on the screen realistically. 

The high speed mecha combat game was animated by Sunrise, with the characters designed by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The game was launched in the Japan Amusement Expo (JAEPO 2018) last February 9 to 11.
