Who else would be the name behind these creations by Shoji Kawamori?

Born in 1960 in Toyama, he later on went to Keio University. During that time, he became friends with Hiroshi Onogi, who is the screenwriter of Macross. Also at the time, he became friends with Haruhiko Mikimoto, a then character designer. And together, they created a fan club for Mobile Suit Gundam, which they named "Gunsight One." Using this name, together they started creating the Macross series. 

Aside from Macross, his name has also been associated with another phenomenal mecha in The Vision of Escaflowne.
