The Saint Young Men (Saint Oniisan) live-action adaptation of the Hikaru Nakamura manga will premiere on October 18 on Kakao Japan's new Piccoma TV streaming service. 

Kenichi Matsuyama is playing the character of Jesus while Shota Sometani is playing the role of Buddha. 

The original manga was released in 2006 in Morning Two, depicting Buddha and Jesus sharing an apartment in Tachikawa. Since then, the manga gathered fans not only in Japan but also abroad. The work even got the Short Story award from the 13th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2009.

In 2013, an anime film of the manga has also been released.
