The live-action movie of the phenomenal manga, Rurouni Kenshin, was released in 2012 by Warner Bros. Japan. The movie was directed by Keishi Otomo, who also did the two sequels for this movie, Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends.
The movie received international fame for its loyal adaptation of this Nobuhiro Watsuki masterpiece.
Some of the stars of the movies include Takeru Sato as Kenshin Himura, Emi Takei as Kaoru Kamiya, and Tatsuya Fujiwara as Shishio Makoto.
