Resident Evil 4 or (バイオハザード４ Baiohazādo Fō is a survival horror and third-person shooter video game published by Capcom, a Japanese video game maker and developer and directed by Shinji Mikami. The game is the sixth of the games made for the Resident Evil series. The plot involves Leon S. Kennedy (the protagonist), a US special agent sent to the European rural village in Spain to rescue the President's daughter - Ashely, held captive by the mysterious cult - Los Illuminados. Before he can save Ashley, Leon must pass through dangerous and tricky places (named as chapters in the game) - a village, the castle, a mine and finally the island.

In order to fight for his life and save Ashley, Leon must battle hordes of violent villagers or Los Ganados in Spanish (The Cattle) who weld axe and weapons. The plaga infected villagers wanted nothing more but see any intruders (including Leon) dead. These villagers can mutate their heads into a parasite monster after being blown off by a gun. These heads can either eat the protagonist's head, attack with a blade or crawl around. Also, Leon must fight nightmarish monsters (iron maiden) that regenerate after losing any part of its body. They can be animated by activating a card (in the hospital room) or after opening a door (the island). 

Leon must also pass the castle full of robe-wearing members of Los Illuminados cult that chant "Morir es Vivir" or to die is to live. The castle traps and the medieval knight armour controlled by the Plaga awaits Leon. Also, he has to fight mini-bosses such as Ramon Salazar, Bitores Mendez and Jack Krauser. On his journey, Leon can get points after defeating an enemy, and collect gems which he can trade for the weapons and guns from a merchant (in the safe zone).

The game concludes after defeating the cult's leader - Osmund Saddler and escaping the island with Ashley. As a player, you can expect this game is full of fun, horror and adventure as you can collect weapons, mix potions for health and organize your suitcase. You can often hear some Spanish dialogues made by villagers and characters in the game. The game's sound effects and music adds to the scary play effect. Resident Evil 4 was a game blockbuster when it earned positive reviews and influenced the modern survival horror game genre.
