On March 26, 2017, anime "No Game, No Life Zero" released its first movie trailer.
The film still features the same characters from the anime television series . Originally, "No Game, No Life" is a novel series about the life of Sora and Shiro. They are a sibling-gamers that got transported into the alternate world by a boy named God. However, this alternate world is ruled by games.
"No Game, No Life Zero" opened on July 15, but participating theaters started selling tickets with bonus last April 15.
The television anime series of No Game, No Life Zero aired in April 2014.
