My Little Monster started as a Japanese romance manga created by Robico.
It is about two high school students, Shizuku Mizutani and Haru Yoshida. Shizuku is a grade-conscious girl while Haru barely even studies and is always involved in school fights. Shizuku is a girl whose focus is only on her studies and nothing else, while Haru is the complete opposite. He rarely attends school and is known for his violence.
This anime proves that opposites do truly attract. The anime series started airing in 2012.
