Mega Man, well-known as Rockman (Rokkuman in Japanese) was first released as the "Mega Man" game in 1987, created by Akira Kitamura. From pixel art design, it was enhanced, with detailed character artwork, by the artist Keiji Inafune. Mega Man has since then became one of Capcom's mascots or main characters, and remains to be one of the video game industry's most recognizable icons.
Mega Man fans are stoked because finally after eight years, CAPCOM unveiled their newest Mega Man 11 game, shown thru livestream last December 4, 2017, Monday. The game was scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in late 2018. In addition, CAPCOM announced that all eight Megaman X games on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will be released in 2018. The Mega Man Collection 1 and Mega Man Collection 2 will have amiibo Support for Nitendo Switch.
