Square Enix releases character videos for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, the PlayStation 4 version of the Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade game, with each video focusing on a character, and showing cut scenes and gameplay footage.

Claire Farron, also known by her code name, Lightning, is a former soldier with a gentle heart masquerading behind a cold exterior.

She fights using her three-paradigm roles, combining gunblade attacks, elemental magic, and healing abilities. 

Her design is said to be the female version of Cloud by Tetsuya Nomura, appearing to be a young woman with an unkempt pink hair, similar to that of Cloud. She wears a white jacket adorned with multiple buckles and belts, a dark mini skirt, and brown boots.
