Last May 2016, it has been announced that a live-action movie of the phenomenal Hiromu Arakawa manga, Fullmetal Alchemist, will be out. They released the first teaser video last November 2016.
On April 6, a new trailer has been relesed by Warner Bros. Japan. The new video features a first glimpse on the metal gear of Alphonse, Edward Elric's younger brother. The protagoinist Edward Elric is played by actor Ryosuke Yamada, a member of the J-pop idol group, Hey! Say! JUMP. The movie is set to be released on December 1 of this year.
According to Rocket News 24, the video has revealed that the film may have retained the original characters' motivation, as in the anime. The world will have an assurance by the end of the year.
