A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi) is a 2016 Japanese anime film. It is directed by Naoko Yamada and written by Reiko Yoshida. The film premiered on September 17, 2016 in almost 120 theaters in Japan. The rest of the world witnessed the heartwarming story between February and June 2017.

The story revolves around the story of Nishimiya Shoko, a deaf grade school student. When she transfers into a new school, she has been bullied by her classmates. One of the most notorious ones is Ishida Shouya. Time has flown and both of them are now in high school and the once bully-underdog relationship transformed into something that will let you hear the voice of the silent.
