Kentaro Miura, the mangaka and creator of the seemingly-horror piece, Berserk, can be considered a child prodigy in the world of manga and anime.

It is said that at 10 years old, Kentaro Miura has already been publishing manga in a school publication that even continued up to the 40th volume. It was entitled "Miuranger."

It was in 1988 when he finally created the "Berserk Prototype,"  a 48-page manga which is considered to be the first part of the "Berserk" fantasy world.This piece won him recognition from the Comi Manga School. In 1992, he started working on "Bersek," and in 1997 also became a key person in the production of the Berserk anime.
