Known for his works for Doraemon anime and Crayon Shin-chan anime, this Japanese animation director has established a solid body of work at the age of 59.
Keiichi Hara graduated from the Tokyo Designer Gakuin College (TDG). He got a job as a production manager for the anime series for "Kaibutsu-kun," originally a manga by Fujiko Fujio. In 1983, he was then transferred to the team handling the animation for "Doraemon," and was given one of the biggest roles, the director.
In 1992, after 3 more projects, he was tasked to handle the anime for Crayon Shin-chan, managing the work of direction, storyboarding and screenplay.
