Netflix has already brought a lot of anime into its content library. One of these anime is Ingress: The Animation, a Niantic's original augmented reality game that became a hit in Japan in the year 2012. Ingress helped pave the way for the future of AR mobile games which is also the reason why Pokemon Go has come to existence.

On 2018, Netflix, Fuji TV, and Crafter collaborated together to come with Ingress: The Animation to become an anime series that will serve as an introduction to the next game, Ingress Prime.

The new title highlights the two characters, Makoto and Sarah as they struggle with the effects of exotic matter spreading across the Earth.
