All the 80s kids, and maybe even the children of the 70s, would definitely recognize some of his most notable works as an animation director.
With anime titles such as Tales of Little Women, Little Princess Sara, Swiss Family Robinson, and Charlotte, Fumio Kurokawa sure had made the most out of his career in animation. He spent most of his career as a storyboard artist and animated film director for the Japanese studio, Nippon Animation. This is also the same studio behind such titles mentioned earlier.
He also directed the Animated Classics of Japanese Literature, which has been listed by the 2007 encyclopedia of Anime Classics Zettai as one of the "100 Must-See Japanese Animation Masterpieces."
