Death Note is a live-action film based on a manga and anime series of the same name.

The story revolves around this killer notebook which has the power to take lives when the owner writes the name of the victim on it. Unfortunately, or probably fortunately, a high school student found the cursed notebook. Yagami Light is the lucky student who used the power of the Death Note to kill all the criminals. Will this make the world a better place? A detective named L, starts investigating the controversial killings and swears to catch Kira.
