"L: Change the World" is the third movie of the phenomenal Kira manga, Death Note. It was directed by Hideo Nakata. The main character, L, was played by Kenichi Matsuyama. The Japanese film was released on February 9, 2008 in Japan. 

The story revolved around the last 23 days of L, as he tried to solve the final case. It was a man-made death. There was a virus made by a certain bio-terrorist group. L was assisted by two children. The first was a boy with a gift for calculation, and a survivor of the virus in Thailand. the second child was Maki Nikaido, who tried to solve the the case in just 23 days.
