Aside from the upcoming games for the next few months, the Tokyo Game Show 2017 has also been a haven for cosplayers wanting to display their latest personalities. And yes, these characters went to the event last September 21 to 24, not as virtual entities like most of the games featured, but as real-life moving game or anime names.

Watch this video by Youtuber "Rescue the Princess," as they document the cosplayers who went to the event. There are game heroes, anime heroines, mechas, creative renditions of all-time favorite characters and a lot more. With the cinematic treatment, the area outside the Makuhari Messe in Chiba has become a living cosplay battlefield.
