The season 2 of the phenomenal anime, entitled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, ended in 2008. After nearly a decade, a season 3 is promised to be released. Entitled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection, the new series promises a new villain that will challenge the Britannian prince. Rumors have it that this season will focus on something that Lelouch's father has handed down to him, which is the power of immortality. While waiting for the final release date, a three-installment Original Video Animation (OVA) is also said to be released this year, covering the story arcs of the two former seasons. What make it more exciting is that the original cast are said to voice the upcoming OVAs.
