Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing game released and developed by Square, which is the now Square Enix. It was released in 1997 for Play Station I, which is the 7th of the Final Fantasy series.

The plot of the RPG revolved around Cloud Strife, a mercenary who entered into an eco-terrorist organization to stop Shinra, a corporation who wanted to use the planet's life essence as energy source.

A Final Fantasy VII remake is set to be released for Play Station 4 (PS4).
