Atsuko Maeda is a Japanese actress and singer who is one of the most prominent members of the AKB48 (a Japanese idol group). She was born in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture and on 14 years of age, she joined Team A (AKB48's first group). On 2011, Maeda made her single "Flower" which became a commercial success in her country. 

Maeda also appeared in TV shows and movies as she became interested in acting. Her first appearance was in 2007 where she stared in the movie " Ashita no Watashi no Tsukurikata". In that movie, she became a supporting actress. Later, she stared as a lead actress in Dokonju GAeru which is a TV series. Soon after, she followed another drama appearances in " Busujima Yuriko no Sekirara Nikki" in 201 and other TV dramas such as "inspector Zenigata, Leaders, The CAt 2 and Gou Gou.
