On July 29, 2017, a new live-action adaptation film of a world-renowned anime will finally hit the theaters. The most-awaited movie of the supernatural thriller manga, that swept the world by storm, Tokyo Ghoul is now coming to fans all over the globe.
This Sui Ishida masterpiece, about the curse that makes human beings crave for flesh, has now come to life. Directed by Kentaro Hagiwara, the role of the half-human, half-ghoul character named Ken Kaneki has been entrusted to Masataka Kubota, the actor who has been hailed as Best Actor at the 86th Television Drama Academy Awards for his performance as Yagami Light in the TV drama adaptation of another phenomenal manga, Death Note.
